Dollar General’s has a new 785,000-square-foot, distribution-warehouse located in New York. Due to the facility’s 40’ clear heights, 117 dock positions, and convenient accessibility to Interstate 90, the retailer is able to better serve its vendors throughout the northeast region.
The new distribution center has created over 400 new jobs in Montgomery County, and provided up to 200 jobs while the project was under construction. Included with the warehouse is a dispatch center, truck maintenance building, pump house, and guardhouses along the perimeter. Leo A. Daly served as the architect on the project.
