CRG Announces Industrial Development in the Lehigh Valley

January 31, 2018

EAST ALLEN TOWNSHIP, PA – CRG is developing The Cubes at Lehigh Valley – Airport Road, a 450,000 square foot speculative industrial building in the Lehigh Valley.  The 40-acre site is 60 miles west of the Port of Newark in East Allen Township, Pennsylvania.

“CRG has looked for superior sites throughout the region and The Cubes at Lehigh Valley – Airport Road is our first foothold in the Lehigh Valley industrial market. We see significant opportunity along Route 22 and I-78 corridors,” said CRG’s Midwest Region Senior Vice President and Partner Scott Caplan. “The Cubes is in a position to capture the future growth for large warehouse distribution and e-commerce fulfillment centers. This is one more step CRG is taking to enhance its industrial portfolio.”

With excellent access to US Route 22, I-78 and I-476, the site is strategically located 60 miles from the Port of Newark and in close proximity to FedEx’s largest ground hub in the United States at Lehigh Valley International Airport.

Once completed, the 450,000 square foot warehouse will have a high efficiency LED lighting, ample dock doors & trailer storage and car parks associated with the new state-of-the-art industrial distribution centers seen throughout the country.

Clayco will serve as the design-builder on the project and its subsidiary, BatesForum is the architect on the project. Construction is expected to begin Q1 2018 with occupancy available Q4 2018. Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania’s Brian Knowles will handle marketing and leasing of the property. For more information visit the Lee & Associates website.
